Welcome to Apartmani Boban — family-run holiday apartments on the Makarska Riviera, Croatia. We have been welcoming guests to our home in Mala Duba for many years, offering a peaceful, personal alternative to hotel stays.

Mala Duba is a quiet seaside village nestled between the impressive Biokovo mountain and the sparkling Adriatic Sea, about 20 km south of Makarska. Here, white pebble beaches, ancient pine trees, and crystal-clear turquoise water create a setting that feels far removed from the crowds — yet remains within easy reach of everything the Riviera has to offer.

Location & Surroundings

From Mala Duba, the island of Hvar is just 4.5 km across the water — easily reached by ferry from nearby Drvenik. Makarska and its vibrant seafront promenade is a short drive away. The Biokovo Nature Park, with its highest peak Sveti Jure at 1,762 m, towers above the coast and offers dramatic mountain hiking with panoramic views stretching all the way to Italy on a clear day.

Summers here are warm and long, often lasting well into October. Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday, island hopping, mountain adventures, or simply good food and local wine — Mala Duba is the perfect base.
