About this listing

Bright, comfortable apartment for up to 4 guests in Mala Duba, a quiet part of the Makarska Riviera between Split and Dubrovnik. You'll have your own terrace, free parking on site, and a short walk to the sea and a pebble beach. The area is known for clear water, the Biokovo mountain right behind us, boat trips along the coast, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Our family has been welcoming guests here for many years and we're happy to help you make the most of your stay.

The space

The apartment is part of our small family-run property in Mala Duba and comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests in one bedroom (one double bed and two single beds). It has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove and microwave, air conditioning, free WiFi, a TV, and a private terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink. The bathroom is private, for your group only.

Guest access

You'll have your own private entrance. Parking is on the property, right off the road into Mala Duba - full directions are above and we'll also send them before your arrival. The host lives right in the house and will be there to welcome you and show you around.

Interaction with guests

We're happy to meet you on arrival, show you around and help with local tips. After that we like to give our guests privacy to enjoy their holiday, but we're always reachable by message if you need anything during your stay.

Getting around

A car is the easiest way to get around the Makarska Riviera, though the beach and local shops are within walking distance. When you arrive in Mala Duba, don't turn into the village (that would be a right turn) - just keep driving straight for about 50 metres and you'll see a bus stop. There's a pedestrian crossing there, and our parking is on the right - look for the gate between two olive trees and come on in.

Neighbourhood

Mala Duba is a peaceful part of Živogošće, right in the heart of the Makarska Riviera. It's a great base for a calm, family-friendly holiday or a more active one: swim at the pebble beaches within walking distance (the coast here also has a naturist/FKK section, which is common along this part of the Adriatic), hike or drive up Biokovo Nature Park, join a boat trip along the coast, or head into Makarska for restaurants, shops and nightlife.
